IGS Focus is a productivity and focus application that works with an IGS Focus Google Sheets Planner to help users plan tasks, start focused work sessions, track actual focused time, and return the recorded results to their Planner.
A Focus System Connected to Your Planner
IGS Focus connects the planning and execution stages of focused work.
Users can select a task from their personal IGS Focus Planner, define a time boundary for the focus session, work in a distraction-reduced Focus Mode, and record the actual focused duration back to the selected task.
The system provides:
- Task-based focus sessions
- User-defined focus time boundaries
- Actual focused-time tracking
- Focus-session recovery if a session is interrupted
- English and Arabic support
- A desktop, app-like focus experience for supported environments
How IGS Focus Uses Google Services
Google Sheets Integration
IGS Focus uses Google Sheets as the user's personal planning environment.
The application requests access only to the Google spreadsheet in which IGS Focus is installed so it can perform functions such as reading the selected task, starting and managing focus-session workflows, and writing the resulting Actual Duration back to the Planner.
IGS Focus also uses authorized Apps Script triggers to respond to user actions in the Planner and communicates with the IGS Focus application service when necessary to operate focus sessions.
IGS Focus does not request general access to all files in the user's Google Drive.
Why IGS Focus Requests Google Permissions
To provide its functionality, IGS Focus requests permissions necessary to:
- View and manage the Google spreadsheet in which IGS Focus is installed.
- Run authorized Planner automation when the user is not actively interacting with the Apps Script interface.
- Connect securely to the IGS Focus application service.
- Provide IGS Focus controls and menus inside Google Sheets.
These permissions are used only to provide the IGS Focus functionality described on this page.
Your Data & Privacy
IGS Focus uses Google user data only to provide and improve the functionality requested by the user.
Access to Google data is limited to the permissions necessary for IGS Focus to operate. Google user data is not sold to advertisers.
